Prime 1 Studio is very excited and proud to present you our long-awaited next entry in the Concept Masterline Series, from the much-acclaimed anime and manga series brought to us by Akihito Tsukushi, Made in Abyss: CMMIA-01 Riko, Reg & Nanachi.

Made in Abyss builds a captivating mysterious world that takes us on the epic adventure of Riko and her companions. Riko lives in a town built around the edge of a massive chasm known as the Abyss. Her dream is to become a great cave raider herself to follow her mother's footsteps. Together with her robotic friend Reg, they embark on a perilous journey into the Abyss, braving the treacherous terrain and deadly creatures in search of her mother and discovering of the secrets and wonders of the Abyss. The layers below are where they meet more friends, such as Nanachi and Meinya.

The artists at Prime 1 Studio have brought into the real world Riko's party as they brave through the rich world of the Abyss and have done an amazing job at recreating the spirit of friendship and adventure in all characters. The iconic light and gentle tone, reminiscent of a picture book, just as it is in the anime's beginnings. Riko bears a big smile as she holds onto her dear friend Reg. Much attention has been brought to her outfit, from her blond pigtails to the glasses, the red whistle to her equipment that aid her on her quest. She shows courage and determination as she knows she is in the best of company. Reg is reaching for the sky with his robotic arms. His childlike innocent and timid looks aren't to be confused with his strong fighting spirit to protect his friends. We have carefully carved and sculpted scratch textures to his metallic castings. Masterful shading has also been brought to his Incinerator to evoke a sense of firepower. Nanachi, the Hollow looks up and smiles at the two companions. Texturing has been intricately sculpted into their fur and hair to create a truly fluffy look, overflowing them with cuteness. Meinya, the pet companion is also present to elevate the scene in a more wholesome manner. This group of friends truly comes alive in the face of the world's last unexplored region. The steep rock face, clear stream, mossy old tree and flowers of resilience come together to form the base on which our heroes stand, depicting the edge of the Abyss.
