Das Kooperationsformat „The Legend of Beauty and the Beast“ von Prime 1 Studio – entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen führenden Künstlern – präsentiert Motoko Kusanagi & Tachikoma in den Charakterfarben aus „Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex“. Die Künstlerin Entei Ryu, die im Bereich der Konzeptkunst für Spiele und Filme tätig ist, stellte dieses Werk 2024 vor und erregte später mit der Veröffentlichung eines Garage-Kits Aufmerksamkeit. Prime 1 Studio hat ihre Vision in eine Statue im Maßstab 1:4 in den Charakterfarben umgesetzt. Unter Beibehaltung der unverwechselbaren Komposition, in der Organisches und Mechanisches zu einer Einheit verschmelzen, haben wir die Größe von ca. 53 cm genutzt, um jedes Element präzise auszuarbeiten. Was wäre, wenn Entei Ryu die Farben mit Blick auf die Welt der Serie entworfen hätte? Diese Idee – die sicherlich die Neugier der Fans der Skulptur wecken wird – wurde durch eine raffinierte Lackierung zum Leben erweckt. Ein lebensechter Glanz in den Augen. Schwebende kybernetische Kabel, die durch den prothetischen Körper verlaufen. Ein Gewehr und ein Tachikoma, die eine überzeugende metallische Präsenz vermitteln. Das komplexe Zusammenspiel von organischen und anorganischen Elementen wurde durch zusätzliche Details bereichert, was den Gesamtdetaillierungsgrad erhöht. Auch der maßgefertigte Sockel wurde so gestaltet, dass er die Ästhetik des Künstlers ergänzt. Diese Bonus-Version ist weltweit auf 350 Stück limitiert und enthält einen A3-Kunstdruck, der auf der Konzeptgrafik basiert. Artist Entei Ryu, active in game and film concept art, unveiled this piece in 2024 and later drew attention with its garage kit release. Prime 1 Studio has translated her vision into a 1/4 scale statue in character colors. Preserving the distinctive composition in which the organic and the mechanical merge into one, we have leveraged the approx. 53 cm size to craft every element with precision. What if Entei Ryu had designed the colors with the world of the series in mind? This idea — sure to spark the curiosity of fans of the sculpt — has been brought to life through refined paintwork. With his hair pulled into a bun and a black and yellow headband wrapping around his head, a long cloak flows from his armored shoulders as he holds a katana in his right hand while a second is strapped to his waist next to a white and black bow.
