THE LAST HOMELY HOUSE, MADE ANEW

Fifteen years ago, we built a Rivendell environment that found a home with collectors all over the world. It went out of production a long since, but demand never faded. You kept asking, so we decided to bring it back: but better.

REBUILT FROM THE GROUND UP

The original molds were long past saving. We tried to create a 3D scan, hoping to carry the old work forward, but the details fell short. Rather than compromise, we started from scratch and set out to create the finest Rivendell we possibly could.

What followed was extensive research and patient exploration of modern manufacturing, testing every technique available to us. The result is larger and more faithful than anything we have attempted before. More of the surrounding mountains are here. The landscape and waterways follow the films more closely than ever, while the architectural detailing reaches a level of fidelity we believe is the most exact achievable at this scale.

This version also includes the courtyard where the Council of Elrond took place, the ground on which the Fellowship is formed, and the fate of the Ring is decided. This location has never before been physically realised within the wider Rivendell location, and great care was taken to ensure its accurate placement. On screen, the valley was never given one fixed layout it changed from shot to shot to serve the story. To ground our version, we followed one of the early sweeping wide shots that reveals Rivendell in full.

This piece took us back to our roots to the pursuit of doing something well and striving for excellence. We hope you find it worthy of a place in your collection.

In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole. It was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.

Every hobbit-hole is unique, expressing the personality of its inhabitants with colour, prettily adorned gardens, furniture, and the rustic debris of everyday life. The abiding atmosphere of Bag End itself is one of lazy comfort, from the pretty but slightly overgrown gardens that hug its eaves to the welcoming clutter inside its labyrinthine chambers. Sprawling around the Hill beneath the shade of an old oak tree whose roots twist through its halls, the grand smial reflects the gentle good humour of its hosts and the universal hobbit love of simple pleasures. A warm glow lights up the windows, a gentle candlelight reflecting the warmth found within.

Wrapped in black cloth and darkened steel, his flesh is concealed save for his engorged mouth and pale chin, his teeth slick with foul blood. The mount itself is armoured in jagged plates and chainmail, draped in layers of cloth and leather. Like its rider, it is almost entirely covered, with only scarce patches of black-furred flesh visible beneath.

Let the celebrations begin!With the loss of Gandalf and the breaking of the Fellowship, many would be forgiven for falling to despair, but not Aragorn. Most would call it a fool's errand, chasing down the roving band of elite Uruk-hai to rescue Merry and Pippin, but not Aragorn. Brave, tenacious, and kind-hearted, Aragorn proved time again the worth and strength of his character. Solidifying his position as a defender of peace within Middle-earth."While Frodo and Sam pick their way slowly towards Mordor through the labyrinthine Emyn Muil, Merry and Pippin are captives of the brutal Uruk-hai. Her shield shattered by the enemy's assault, her arm injured, and the odds against her, Éowyn cast her fear aside. She drew upon all her courage and stood before him unyielding, to oppose that most fell and ancient foe.

Beneath the ashen sky of Osgiliath, Faramir rode forth with the sons of Gondor™, their banners pale against the gathering shadow of Mordor™. Though doom waited upon the broken causeway and no hope shone before them, they spurred onward with the valour of Men who hold faith with duty when all else has failed. Their courage was undeniable, yet valour alone is no guarantee of victory.

This dynamic statue portrays the Captain of Gondor mounted on his horse at full stride, clad in his distinctive armour and leading the damned assault upon Osgiliath. Sword thrust forward and mouth open in command, the sculpt captures the precise moment Faramir commits himself and his men to the charge. Though the action may be futile, he neither falters nor turns aside. For sculptor Gary Hunt, Faramir was a character worth championing. Often cast as something of an underdog, he presented one of the trilogy's finest character arcs: a man who proved himself far greater than his father ever recognised, and who let the Ring pass by so its bearer could journey on. Rendering the charge meant balancing the outward gallantry of the charge with Faramir’s hopeless devotion to a father he’ll never impress.
The horse was also significant, as Gary had spent more than 20 years waiting for the opportunity to sculpt one at 1:6 scale. To faithfully capture the power and grace of a galloping horse, he studied equine musculature and movement in depth. Veterinary references, anatomical demonstrations, and footage of horses in motion informed every aspect of the sculpt. That attention to anatomy is evident throughout the piece. Muscles bunch and stretch beneath the horse's skin, conveying both speed and weight, while flowing strands of mane and tail lend the sculpture a fluid grace. The relationship between horse and rider is just as carefully resolved: Faramir leans forward in the saddle, lifted by the motion beneath him, while his chainmail and tassets react naturally to the momentum of the charge. Recreating Faramir's likeness presented its own challenge. The statue captures both the actor's features and the intensity of a battlefield command, preserving the moment his charge begins. Original armour scans provided a foundation, but every piece still required extensive refinement and adjustment to function convincingly in such a dynamic pose. Rich in detail and charged with motion, this limited-edition 1:6 scale statue honours the courage and duty of Faramir facing the harsh realities of a war-torn Middle-earth: doomed yet unbroken.
